Difference between 끝나다 and 끝내다

Something (Noun) 이/가 + 끝나다 = something is finished
Something (Noun) 을/를 + 끝내다 = to let something finish

1. Noun + 이/가 끝나다

Note: Thing is the subject here

Examples:
수업이 끝나다. Class is finish.
일이 끝났어요. Work is finished.
시랑이 끝났어요. Love is finished.

2. Noun + 을/를 끝내다

Note: Person is the subject here, and thing is the object.

Examples:
선생님이 수업을 끝내요. Teacher end the class.
저는 일을 끝냈어요. I finished work.
남자가 사랑을 끝내요. Guy stop loving you.
